City of Tourcoing
How do Goupil vehicles make everyday work easier for municipal officers in the city of Tourcoing?
With its 100,000 inhabitants, the city of Tourcoing, located on the Belgian border, has been trusting Goupil for over 15 years to keep its public spaces clean, sustainable and welcoming.
A fleet tailored to the city's needs
Today, the city operates around twenty Goupil electric utility vehicles, used daily to:
- Empty more than 1,000 public litter bins, including dog waste and dual-stream bins.
- Collect and monitor illegal dumping using a geolocalisation application.
- Clean streets, squares and pavements, and remove graffiti and illegal posters.
- Handle market logistics: containers, waste collection and cleaning.
- Maintain parks, gardens and cemeteries.

Why Goupil?
Goupil vehicles are quiet, compact and able to access all areas, even narrow streets and cemeteries. Versatile and practical, they simplify the agent's daily rounds. They also fit perfectly with the city's sustainable development strategy.
Mr Salim Merzoug, Deputy Director of Tourcoing's Urban Cleanliness Department:
« Goupil is a discreet, all-purpose vehicle, perfectly suited to our everyday needs. Thanks to it, our teams have gained autonomy and saved time, which has completely transformed the way we work. »
